The Engineering Technology Group (ETG) says it is breaking new boundaries with its website, making it more inclusive for disabled users by conforming to the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. WCAG 2.1 AA defines how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning or neurological disabilities. This stringent level of criteria for improving inclusivity is generally reserved for public sector services. However, ETG says it decided to take its online presence and inclusivity beyond the minimal levels of its rivals to create a truly inclusive customer experience for all site users.
