F1 team extends DMG Mori partnership

Formula One team Aston Martin Red Bull Racing has extended its innovation partnership with machine tool builder DMG Mori.

The relationship between the pair has been in place since 2004, with DMG Mori becoming an ‘Innovation Partner’ in 2012. By the end of 2018 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Milton Keynes manufacturing facility will feature 19 DMG Mori machines, with the addition of a DMU 40 eVo linear and a DMU 60 eVo linear this year.
The five-axis capability of the DMG Mori machines plays a crucial role in the efficient and accurate milling necessary to meet the demands of Formula One competition.

MTI celebrates 15 years of innovation

In 2003 MTI launched a print magazine abound with game-changing innovations for the pre-owned machine tool market.

In a sector previously restricted to black and white classified listings, MTI magazine brought glossy photographs and easy-to-use colour categories to the market. In the subsequent 15 years, the innovations did not stop, with the launch of a global exhibition strategy designed to help customers in the UK, Europe and USA promote their machines and services in emerging markets. This initiative continues today, with some 19 exhibitions planned for 2019.
MTI has also launched two highly successful websites, MTImagazine.com and Machinespotter.com, one bringing the latest industry news and technological innovations

MTI reports successful UMEX show

The UMEX used machinery exhibition proved a roaring success in New Delhi, India, at the end of August.

Some 304 exhibitors and 8422 visitors from nine countries attended the Pragati Maidan venue, with many seeking out deals on
pre-owned machine tools and manufacturing equipment. The show once again proved it can provide unparalleled opportunities for those in the used machinery sector.
The MTI pavilion (MTI is the co-organiser of UMEX) was a hive of activity.
