Besten Machines BV has taken over the import rights of HACO BV and is now the importer of the complete HACO range for the Netherlands. The company’s experienced and motivated staff will assist the Dutch market with all questions and needs regarding modern sheet metal working solutions, including press brakes, guillotine shears, CNC punching machines, and plasma and fibre laser cutting machines. With this transfer, Besten Machines will also be responsible for the service of HACO machines within Dutch borders.

KraussMaffei Group has sold KraussMaffei Austria to Luger GmbH. With this sale, the KraussMaffei Group is aiming to further intensify its sales and service business in the Austrian and Hungarian markets for injection moulding and extrusion machinery. Following the takeover of the previous KraussMaffei employees, more than 60 experts will be responsible for sales and support of plastics machinery under the KraussMaffei and Netstal brands. Both brands belong to the KraussMaffei Group. Luger intends to expand its market presence in the coming years, particularly in Hungary.

Rolls-Royce and airframe specialist Tecnam are joining forces with Widerøe – the largest regional airline in Scandinavia – to deliver an all-electric passenger aircraft for the commuter market that will be ready for revenue service in 2026. Due to its topography, Norway makes extensive use of aviation for regional connectivity and has an ambition for all domestic flights to be zero emissions by 2040. Rolls-Royce will bring its expertise in propulsion and power systems, while Tecnam will provide aircraft design, manufacturing and certification capabilities.

The Metal Forming Committee of UCIMU-Sistemi per Produrre, the Italian machine tool, robots, automation systems and ancillary products manufacturers’ association, has expressed its unanimous decision to take part in the next EMO Milano 2021, which takes place on Fieramilano on 4-9 October 2021.
