Milestone for BMW Hams Hall plant

BMW Group’s UK engine production facility located in North Warwickshire is marking a major landmark: 25 years since it commenced production. In that time, the Hams Hall plant has manufactured more than 7.6 million engines, with the high-precision machining of key engine components proving a key capability.

The facility’s machining function has witnessed significant growth. Originally only manufacturing for the plant’s own engine production, the precision machining facility has trebled itscapacity over the past decade. This expansion has increased annual production to more than 1 million components and extended its supply to BMW Group’s engine manufacturing plant in Steyr, Austria.

XYZ and MTT Celebrate 25 Years

XYZ and Limerick-based Machine Tool Technologies (MTT) are celebrating 25 years of partnership, allowing manufacturers of one-offs and small batches across Ireland to be both productive and efficient.MTT took on board the agency for the sales and support of XYZ machines right from its formation.
