Being demonstrated by Hainbuch (hall 19, stand 120) will be a clamping system for holding round components up to 300 mm in diameter.
The CentroteX quick-changeover clamping interface is compatible with Hainbuch‘s TOPlus, SpannTop and SpannTop Mini work-holding systems, and can be used on turning centres, measuring and grinding machines, as well as dividing heads. The system will also accept collect chucks, mandrels, three-jaw chucks and fixtures. Fast changeovers of under 5 minutes are supported by repeatable accuracy of less than 0.008 mm.
At the show, the system will appear alongside the new Hainbuch MandoTex, a standardised quick-changeover interface developed especially for Mando T211/212 mandrels. With a bayonet coupling, machine and clamping device adaptor, the MandoTex is said to offer a large selection of standard clamping devices, high clamping forces and micron precision.
