A UK-based stamping specialist is targeting over £2m of new opportunities in the rail sector after it launched an engineering consultancy service. Brandauer is approaching rolling stock and infrastructure specialists on projects looking to remove weight from parts. The company’s 15-strong engineering team has been set-up to provide a full design and manufacturing service, collaborating with the client from early-stage development. This strategy will provide customers with access to everything from feasibility studies and prototyping, through to the manufacture of tooling and high-volume production.
